| i don't write, but i love to read. i'm trying to be better about reviewing, though! i love well-written prose, sentences that are crafted, memorable lines, characters who stay in character and yet still grow... and i've found lots of stories that fit the bill here. i try to write useful reviews; i hope it works. i'm not sure what to do with the ratings. i started by giving stories that i really like 8 so i could give 10 to the ones that are totally outstanding, but as i look at more reviews, i see 10 is the norm... i hope no one i have given an 8 to was bothered by that. if i could go change them all, i'd consider just giving 10s from now on, but since i can't... 8 will still be my normal, i guess. no capitals because my hands hurt more when i use the shift keys; sorry about that. | |
