| Greetings one and all! My name is Ms. Anthrop. I fell down this rabbit hole purely by chance and now find myself furiously typing away in hopes of completing my first story (Snape and Hermione 4EVA!). While I've always written drabbles here and there, my background is in academia. Primarily, I research areas of public and reproductive health; I specialize in the Middle East and Africa. I currently work in education. Should you be writing on any of those topics and have questions, feel free to PM me. The story I'm currently working on came to me whilst listening to Jeff Buckley's wonderful version of "Hallelujah". I'm still angry over that horrid epilogue some six years later-- there is no chance that having experienced all of the trauma our erstwhile characters would simply fall in line, end up with their school-yard loves, and live happily ever after-- so my story is an attempt to correct that monumental error. Also, I find Dumbledore to be a Machiavellian and unredeemable ass. Should you having any interest in beta-ing something along those lines, let me know. I have an unhealthy obsession with music, and love to read fantasy and sci-fi. My favorite show growing up was the X-Files; currently, I'm a Doctor Who fan. I love American Football, and am currently basking in the joy of a Super Bowl win. | |
