My stories are likely (at best) an acquired taste; many people will simply hate them forever. They'll never be popular, and I'll never be a Big Name in fandom.

I like to write what I would to read, and that happens to be stories that make me think, require some pondering, and which are like puzzles without being true mysteries.

Since I don't enjoy easy answers or reading the-story-as-neatly-wrapped-package, I tend not to write it. Ambiguity might as well be my middle name. I also don't appreciate spoilers, so I'm unlikely to answer questions about what's going to happen next or deconstruct a plot. Experience has showed me that this is a minority position for the outspoken among us, at least. (If there are any lurkers out there who also like a bit more freedom to fly when reading, come out of the shadows! I'd love to to hear from you – even if you don't like what I write!)

So, that's it: not exactly an autobiography, but perhaps a helpful note to readers.
