I'm older than some Potter fans, which means I can only see Severus and Hermione getting together later instead of sooner. In other words, I know what most teens DON'T know:
1. You really don't know as much as you think you do when you're 17 or 18, and
2. Adult males do not find any female that age to be their equal in either emotions or intelligence.
Therefore, while I simply adore the pairing, you will never find Hermione the schoolgirl in any of my stories. Which is not to say that I haven't read some good ones like that, but it's just not something I personally believe to be credible.
Otherwise, I'm a nurse, I'm married, I have a teenager (which probably explains why I find the teenage maturity issue a non-possibility). I've also written a Remus/OC story under the pen name Chocaholic at Sugar Quill. |
