Travel Papers
"Your passport seems in order, Master Snape. The gate opens in three hours." The young-looking clerk grinned viciously. "Enjoy the wait.
"We just need your signature here…" He held out a miniscule-printed page. Severus merely skimmed it, before…
"Don't you dare!" Her shout rebounded painfully throughout the hall.
"Excuse me, miss," the clerk huffed. "Everything's in order."
"No, it's not," she hissed, snatching the paper and shredding it. "The gentleman is not in your books, sir." Hermione grabbed Snape's arm, dragging him away. "I'll be damned myself if I let you go to Hell when you don't belong there."
AN: This was inspired by Liz Williams' conception of the 'Night Harbor' (the hub for souls traveling to both Heaven and Hell) in her Inspector Chen novels. (Excellent reads, btb.) The underlined portion is the required challenge quote. The summary quote is from Star Trek IV.
