| It is generally well written, thank you for that. But what she did here is inexcusable. To force bondage on someone, to force answers from someone who is not used to open up, is really a betrayal. I know that it would be presented as something that helps him, but it's very hard to believe it would work out this way. Not something he could actually forgive, no matter how much he wanted her. As bad as the legimency was, this is even worse. Every step he gave her an out, he didn't force her to do anything she didn't want, as soon as she said that she was uncomfortable he stopped. And here she is basically raping him. BDSM still requires consent. | |||

| So glad to have discovered this story! One small thing I was surprised no one else had mentioned: "Suddenly Hermione found herself looking up at his eyes from a prone position on the desk..." Her neck must've been aching, due to tilting backward so hard, since "prone" means "on one's stomach". "Supine"--admittedly a clumsier and less satisfying word--is the correct one, meaning "on one's back"
Since you're not writing (or revising) here any more, this bit of constructive criticism is more for other writers here. An otherwise perfect chapter! Author's Response: Wow, super-pedantic review! Actually I'm a professional editor as well...and "prone" means lying flat either way, though some sources do cite a preference for face-down. It can mean either. I'd never use "supine" in a sex scene (or recommend it for one of my clients), because too many people would have to look it up ;-) | |||

| Actually, "...for the first time in his life, he actually didn't mind the sound of someone having a laugh at his expense" isn't really true. He was deliberately being funny, so Hermione's laugh wasn't at his expense at all. Good chapter--glad to find this story! Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it :-) | |||

Love triumphant. .. It will be read again ,and pondered. Yes, That scene with SS and HG negotiating a United Nations peace and equal rights treaty was so.. relaxing to see. Harry's explanation about the shell-shocked war- people absolutely rang true. I want to read it all again, again. Mirth and wise words. Both your tale and the all the reviews were worth losing sleep over.
