Ha, simply hilarious. I knew something like this would have to happen sooner or later with all of those rumors... I am surprised it was a Slytherin though ;) I adored Snape's reaction to it!!!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. Who else would it have been besides Slytherins, trying to get ahead?

Wow. Wow. This all just keeps getting worse and worse for old Sev, all because he is being… himself. This is absolutely one of the better takes on canon!Snape I’ve read in the fandom. Everything he says and does is perfectly in character; the misunderstandings that ensue are at once anguishing, sad, funny, and hypnotic. Well done.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying.

I have read all of this story since last night. I just didn't want to stop. It's great and ... different. A very serious story line but sprinkled with humor in unexpected places. Like a nightmare that has a few ridiculous bits thrown in. The characterization of Severus is wonderful. I usually dislike Hermione (can't really believe I'm really here) but in this story she seems very real... much more human than in most. Eagerly awaiting more.
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you're enjoying the story.

I hope Hermione sets Ron and Harry straight. Preferably not very nicely.
Severus seems to be doing okay, considering the entire student body thinks bad thoughts. Hasn't lost it yet, at least.
Author's Response: Thanks for the comments.

Gads this is a great story! This has such a fresh prespective as a topic. I can't wait to read how this will end. It is so hard to clear a name once it has been smeard by word. Almost impossible to clear if smeard in written form. So we have not seen that yet. I mean to say the Daily Proffit has not put out a story about this yet but I would bet it might if given time! Poor Severus and Poor Harmione. Harmione's poor judgement may ruin them both. She doesn't have a clue the severity of damage this is doing to Severus and he is totally inocent. She seems to think that the worst is what people may think of her. She is not even grasping the damage that will hit Severus's career, friends (Manirva was his friend?), reputation, and life (if he is forced to leave he no longer has Hogwarts protection) - how imature she is (which is a great reflection of what would most likely be running through an 18 year old's head). Can't wait for updates.

Enjoying the story. Good to see Trelawney in a positive light. If only she spoke in a more down to earth fashion, she'd find more acceptablity - though then she wouldn't be Trelawney. Unique use of Hermione's lack of confidence with her inability to admit her mistake.
Author's Response: Thank you for the comments. I'm glad you're enjoying.

It's tough being a male teacher in a co-ed school! Poor Prof Snape!
I enjoyed the discussion in the Potions class regarding Veritaserum and Pronerean. I thought your take on Veritaserum was interesting, and your addition of the Pronerean as a similar truth potion added that challenge as well. I suppose we will be seeing both potions used later in the story, won't we?
Miss Noble would only be the first of the ig-Nobles to try the good Professor. I thought you drew out that scene excellently. I felt that a fifth year Slytherin would make this attempt without considering the long term consequences, but would have second thoughts. Still, Miss Noble's thinking wasn't so far from Hermione's initial thoughts, although Hermione did not have the opportunity to clarify what it was her detention was suppose to be.
I like how Severus decided that the tuition would be held in the library. If only he had conducted his detention in a more public area, the problem with Hermione would have been avoided. As they say, 'hindsight is 20/20'. *smiles*
Author's Response: It is indeed. Thank you for the comments.
