| I really don’t understand why this is under the category for SSHG. Read it to the end expecting romance. I saw the note at the end and get it but a note at the beginning would have been nice for those of us expecting that. |

| This story is unrealistic at best. Despite all your explanations, there is ZERO reason to justify Dumbledore using any avenue available to clear Snape. A serious accusation like that would warrant it. Forget something as silly as ‘everyone’ seeing Hermione naked! Legilimency could have been used, just as a Pensieve. And I refuse to believe Hermione would be so obtusely stupid as to not know the severity of the rumors flying around. I know your choices fit for your narrative but it was beyond unrealistic. It’s crazy to have it end where Severus is known to be a rapist for all of Hogwart’s history. THAT I firmly believe an adult Hermione would have rectified. |

| I read this a number of years ago, so don't remember particulars. But I'm being teased by Sybil Trelawny's interaction with Dumbledore. I suspect she may be the one who gets to defend Severus (!). |

| I like it, except the end. I do think Severus would rather cut off his right arm than return / stay at Hogwarts. The man was loyalty and self sacrifice incarnate but that ... is too much. |

| This is a cold, cold story.
As one who lives a life of quiet desperation, fenced in by rumours, lies, and deep pain,
the anguish I feel by the description of Professor Snape's sad loneliness is
so miserable.
Why did you have to write a story that shows Exactly how
heartless people are towards each other. God, the poor man. It makes me weep.
and the much vaunted Hermione should just have stood up in front of her Gryfs in the Common room, her schoolmates in the Great hall, and told the Truth out loud, again and again, defended him and herself, by being honest . She is not intelligent She is the woirst kind of coward , not able to admit She is Human ,and made A Fool of herself. heartless, small,....
so she just blithely ruins a man.
Reader, please learn not to run with gossip, it is worse than poison. |
