| Another brilliant chapter! I particularly liked the following: "The pictures on the wall did not move, and this disconcerted Severus; it was like they were all frozen in time." It seems so strange and perfect that a wizard would be disturbed by the very thing a Muggle finds comforting about non-moving photographs; that they freeze a moment in time, never changing, always remembered. Ah...but I ramble. I love this story! :)

I really enjoyed this chapter. I love the way her mother nags about boyfriends. I have to say though that Lester and Wanda are very unusual names in the UK which jars a little.
Author's Response: Well, I wrote "I Am Your Dentist" last year and gave them the names Lester and Wanda. Lester because my orthodontists' name was that (he's Jewish) and Wanda after the movie "Fish Called Wanda." I thought that since I already came up with their names in another fic, I would use them again. And with naming their own child Hermione, it wouldn't surprise me that they have "unconventional" names for the UK. Then again, in canon, I wouldn't be surprised if Rowling reveals their names are Bob and Alice...or something *Very* common. |
