| i mean if she was thinking about his telling her about what his father did then why didnt she go back to that time in the past where severus was locked in the closet by his dad?? She thought for a second. “I was lying with you on the bed. You had been unconscious since yesterday. I was trying to reach you through our link. I was thinking about something you told me, about how your father locked you in that closet, and I was worrying about you, trapped in the darkness…”
A realization came to her. “So that’s where we are! In your potions closet.”

| if they are in the memory of them in potions closet when why did hermione think he looked younger when what happened in the potions closet happned last year?? “I thought I’d never see you again!”
“Lumos,” he said, holding the lighted tip between them and lifting her chin to peer into her face. “I’ve missed you.”
Hermione gaped at him. He appeared younger, his face not nearly as careworn as she remembered. His dark eyes glimmered in the wandlight. She choked on a laugh. “You’re beautiful!”
He sighed, freeing his wand from her hair to bring it around and light the area between them once more. “What’s the last thing you remember?”
“I’d like to ask you the same thing.”
He raised an eyebrow. “Nevertheless, I asked first.”

He nodded.
“We’re in a memory. Our memory. But this isn’t how it happened. You have your wand. We could unlock the door if we wanted. And where’s Peeves?”
“Memories aren’t written in stone,” he said, brushing a strand of hair away from her eyes. “They’re mutable, changing slightly whenever we replay them in our minds. Sometimes we remember them as they happened, but other times…” |

| because of what severus did to his mind does that mean the amber connection and everything to do with the amber connection is gone??? Reaching out to him through their Amber connection, Hermione went cold clear through. His soul is completely and utterly still!

| just like with hermione he thinks now !! Forget that the look of adoration in Lily’s eyes wasn’t genuine, her passion for him induced. Forget that it was the tragic result of a potion given to her as a practical joke.

| she should not have blocked that it was viktor who took her virginity because now his going to think it was HARRY who took her virginity With this last violation of her thoughts, Hermione called forth every mental defense she could muster, and just as she had cloaked her knowledge of hearing Snape’s declaration of love that morning in his bed, so now did she prevent him from knowing the identity of Viktor Krum, the man who had taken her virginity.
As Snape plundered her mind, he didn’t put forth the slightest effort to be gentle. Her vision turned inward as he barged through her psyche, invading it as if conquering enemy territory, tromping through her barriers, shoving this memory aside, and scouring that one for details to which he could pin her guilt.
When their souls chafed together, Hermione felt a stab through her heart at the realization that he was using their Amber connection to his advantage, all the while withholding his emotions from her and blocking her insight into his mind.
Yet the more she tried to hide from him, the easier he seemed to home in on her memories of Harry. Snape took possession of her innermost secrets, seizing them for his own, examining every nuance. She imagined his inner sneer as he found the one of Harry tossing the fireworks into Goyles’s cauldron, while she slipped into Snape’s office to steal boomslang skin; her flight with Harry on Buckbeak to the West Tower to help Sirius Black escape the Dementors; Harry throwing his body over hers, to shield her from Lucius Malfoy’s hexes when he attacked them in Hogsmeade in their sixth year – and, at last, and most definitely worst, Hermione writhing and crying out in the darkness beneath another man’s naked, thrusting body.
With this last violation of her thoughts, Hermione called forth every mental defense she could muster, and just as she had cloaked her knowledge of hearing Snape’s declaration of love that morning in his bed, so now did she prevent him from knowing the identity of Viktor Krum, the man who had taken her virginity. |

| how does minerva know about hermione and severus or was she talking about something else to do with them?? |
