| I believe that should be 'Arthur' Weasley, not 'Author". Let's see, Fred and George were one year ahead of Hermione at Hogwarts. She's 28, which means they are 29. First year students are 11. So Fred certainly didn't waste any time being fruitful and multiplying: his son must have been born when he was only 18! |

| First let me say that I'm absolutely impressed with not only the storyline but your writing, too. And that really does not happen very often. You managed to create something that is fascinating and insightful with beautiful characterisations and style! So often you have one without the other or none at all, and I'm about speechless to find it so well combined and artistically crafted here. The effort you must have put into it (and let's not talk about obvious talent here) will hopefully be appreciated by many more. And I can only humbly offer my thanks for such reading pleasure and express my hopes that you won't abandon your work, as it is one of the best I've read so far, and that's telling a lot..... Shameful, absolutely shameful. This is one of the best written, best characterizartion, extremely intelligent, and realistical stories I have read in a while. And you have hardly any reviews. That's a shame. I've seen stories that had many reviews, and yet none of them come close to what you are conjuring up for us.
Now, I'll be the first to admit, I am drawn to this pairing for their wits, sarcasm, and the way they duel each other with words and actions. Not to mention the incredible passion that is promised in the heat of such conversation duels. I would not have usually read this since it has a B rating, scandleous I know. But you give your readers, such long and insightful chapters. You bounce between the past and the present, and never forget to include what is going on around the main story: A Siren Statue, Wizard's Archery, Daisy Pattern Teacups from Minerva.
And then you actually take the time and explain your references in your author notes! In the previous chapter when the muggle writers were mentioned, you went and gave the readers some information. (Not just saying: Did you see the allusion I made to that philosi-guy from Rome? ) And even making loose quotations which is most more normal in today's conversations.
I'm sorry for such a long and tedious review, I don't review stories often because most of the time everything I have to say, has already been said. But I truly enjoy this story, and your writing style. I look forward to your next update.
Author's Response: Thank you very much and never apologize for a long review. I've been on holiday the past month touring England, Ireland and Wales and just finished out a semester at university so I'm taking somewhat of a break at the moment, as I am sure you could tell from the time of my last update. The next chapter is finished though, so I will post eventually. |
