| I came here by way of a rec from mollyssister. This is a beautiful set up, and while I can see your point (in the author's note) that it could stand as is, I am very pleased that you went on with it. Not to mention that I have a soft spot for Leonard Cohen lyrics. |

| I read one of you PWPs - "Having Hermione" and loved it so much (was that REALLY your first lemon?) I'm working my way through your other fics. So now I'm on chap 3 of this fic and after your A/N was struck by the title - have you heard "True Companion" by Marc Cohn? The HG/SS ship is my all-time favorite because it always has that feeling to me - that despite outward appearances, in defiance of "normal" standards, and even though it just sounds like sticky-sweet-sappy romantic drivel, some souls just belong together; some relationships are transcendent. You story is a dead-on portrayal of that, and though I usually only read the "W" and "L" - rated fics, I'm lovin' it!! (And thanks for the fruit-loops tip. I'm right at that point with my son, who is almost three, and the hubby just won't step up to the plate . . . ) |

| I just have a plot-oriented question... What about Legilimency? Why doesn't Snape, who's skilled at it, read her mind? If the curse blocks it, fine, but a hint in that direction would be nice. Other than that minor plot point, I really am enjoying this story. |
