| Of course this is AU: Ron is dead, Albus and Severus alive, but this is quite a good and intriguing beginning. Now that DH pt 2--and therefore, all the HP movies--are completed, Emma Watson got her hair cut shorter (probably) than Hermione's got it here (and she looks fetching!). But I love your focus on it, as something Severus and Harry want fixed, for her sake. I love their truce over Hermione, I like your exploration of Snape's feelings. Good chapter. | |||

| I'm enjoying the story thus far, but would you please correct one mistake both you and your beta missed, and change "released to his own reconnaissance" to "released to his own recognizance"? It's a little thing, but little things mean so much in a good story. | |||
