I like that even though Hermione brought up the teeth incident, she'd let it go. While I'm sure she appreciated his sort of apology, it wasn't something she was still biter about. And that was a surprising bit of sneakyness on her part at the end, hehe. It was all a very good bit of dialogue between them, you write their conversations very well!
Author's Response: Thanks! Hermione doesn't strike me as the bitter type. But she'll remember -- oh, she'll remember. |

I'd feel safer with my arm entwined with Snape's, too!
Author's Response: It probably depends on the Snape. There are so many versions of him floating around in fandom. ;-D |

Great idea so far. The ministry as the sourse of evil with a great big conspiraracy....very fun to read. Onto the next chapter.
Author's Response: Conspiracies are so much fun, aren't they? (To read about. I wouldn't want to be caught up in one.) |

This is delightful so far; I'm so glad I found it. You have a good ear for dialogue, and the protagonists are refreshingly in character. Looking forward to the rest!
Author's Response: I hope you find the rest worth the read. Thanks! |

Now they have a cause with Snape's new info, but for the early banished, why did they not take the classic route of leaving the country for Wizarding communities abroad? I would expect the Wwasleys might have headed to Romania or other locations overseas.
Author's Response: You'll see when you get to Chapter 10. :-D |

Oh cripe. After all the insults Snape handed out to every child he taught, why can't she leave the situ with her teeth alone? It's total crap to try to throw that in his face when she's a grown adult and she'd been insulted by a half a million other people. Like, she's the only one he's ever insulted. Get off your Ego train, Hermione....
Author's Response: Most of Snape's insults were about insufficiently intelligent behavior. The one about Hermione's teeth was a low blow, and I don't think a man with yellow specimens ought to be casting stones. In any case, Hermione was using it to make the point that she paid attention to what he did, not just what he said, which presumably Snape would appreciate. |
