A very in-character story with a very interesting plot. Thank you for this story. ú

Author's Response: Glad to provide it -- thanks for reading!

Thanks so much for this story. It remains a favorite ever since I discovered it about 6 months ago. We've seen the hardships of muggle-borns adjusting to wizarding life - it's good to see the shoe on the other foot, and of course Hermione is the perfect muggle-life coach! I'm now working my way through your other stories - any plans on a post - DH fic?

Author's Response: None, alas -- I've been semi-retired for a while now, so it's not the challenges of DH that are to blame (epilogue? what epilogue?). But I'm so glad you enjoyed this tale, and I hope the other stories meet your expectations as well.

"Do not come again" - oh, that hurt. A fine way to treat him, indeed. A great start, and now I'm looking forward to working my way through the rest.

Author's Response: Why thank you! I hope the rest does not disappoint.

Forgive me. It seems the first half of my review is lost somewhere in the internet (we'll never find it), and now the second half makes no sense. So here goes Part three. I'll reiterate my inital review: I sincerely appreciate the time and effort that must have gone into this story, especially the name meanings and little plot details (it's very JKR of you). I also love Sam, you did a wonderful job with your original characters, especially him. So basically this is an awesome story and I;m glad I invested my time and attention. My question was about that guy you quoted in one of you author's notes (I believe it was something about designing women's underthings and dictatorship). Do you recommend anything by him? I'd like to check him out. Anyway, thanks for a great story :o) Sue.

Author's Response: P.G. Wodehouse -- British comic genius. Read anything by him, but he's especially known for the Jeeves and Wooster series, from which that excellent line is taken. Here's a list compiled by a fan: www.hatsharpening.com/j&w/books.php

Glad you enjoyed my story! Thanks for reviewing.

Part two of my review (haha, sorry, I hit enter) Anyway, my question is, is there a book or piece in particular by this guy that you would recommend? I'd be interested to check him out. Thanks :o)

Author's Response: See my answer to Review the Third. ;-)

I'm coming back through to review this story because its really good and the top fictions are mostly rubbish. I'd rather yours be up there!

Author's Response: Why thank you! Now THAT'S a fan. ;-)

Forgot to mention it, but your story is one of my favourites, by the way.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm very glad to hear it.

Ah, another human being interested in obscure Roman emperors. There was another one, you know, almost as bad- Septimius Severus, father to the infamous Caracalla. He was vicious and heartless, delighting in rape, torture, ruthless seizure of land, everything. Only he never lost his people's support because they were so in awe of his ability and his cunning. Don't know anything anything about him stabbing flies with his stylus, though...

Author's Response: Yes, and I'm hoping JKR doesn't have that Severus in mind for her Severus!
