| It is funny to me that she assumes he did not manage to pick up a woman, so she does not even ask. Perhaps this issue will not come up for another month. I wish this chapter had a couple more paragraphs. How did he behave after? He should've at least thanked her for checking on him. Author's Response: I guess it was implied at the beginning when she caught him drunk and he admitted that the enchantment hadn't been fulfilled. I agree - their communication is poor, which is really a feature of why things have progressed with difficulty throughout. I hope any questions might be answered in future chapters.
