| Hm...I'm intrigued. I was so certain at the end of the first chapter that it was Severus who was sending her gifts -- then again, I suspect that you wanted me to think that! I don't blame her one bit for being reluctant to trust Lucius -- but I think she handled him expertly. I also find myself wondering if Severus could be in on this in some way since Lucius and Severus have known each other for such a long time -- especially the way in which he made no comment when she reached for her letter. | |||
