| Ooh, I too, like loonylunalupin, thought Hermione knew. Her tidbits of information seemed too intentional. That is NOT a criticism, BTW. I am intrigued so far. I haven't left a review here in ages, but your story compelled me to do so. Nice work so far. Author's Response: Thank you very much for your review! I did not take it as criticism, but that would be all right, too. I want to get better and better and therefore am grateful for pointers. In my imagination Hermione recognised Zelko's mail as the kind gesture it is (she doesn't know he would not have sent it while sober) and therefore responds accordingly. From then on I plan to let academic curiosity get the better of them. I fear I made a hash of posting, because chapter 2 is missing, but I do hope this can be made right soon. | |||

Has Hermione already seen through his fake persona? Author's Response: No, she has no reason to. My assumption with this story was that Hermione had only rarely thought of Severus during the last fourteen years and therefore the possibilty of him being alive doesn't cross her mind.
