I enjoyed your reading your story. Friday night I went to see our Philharmonic last concert for the season: saluting George Gershwin and their Classical Connection "The Power of Faith: Tchaikovsky's Fourth". I am getting to a point soon.
When the concertmaster master started to play the violin, I was struck by the thought (and this was before I read your story), Jessica Hung dressed in a traditional black dress, long sleeves. The way she held her head with her shoulder length hair obscuring her face - I was immediate struck by the thought that if Professor Snape had played a musical instrument, it would have been the violin and this is the exact way he would have looked. The very next night I read your story - I thought it was a strange coincidence.I should have left the comment when I read it, but it was late and I wanted to leave a proper comment - thus I waited until tonight. Again it is late but at least I have my faculties about me. Thank you for writing. I look forward to reading more.
Author's Response: How funny some coincidences are! I'm glad you liked the story and agreed with me that the violin is the best instrument for Severus. |

For want of a better word, this story is just lovely. How lucky they both are to have such good friends. |

Very enjoyable. I've been away from this site for a long time. Yours in the first story I've read in years. Thanks for luring me back.

Lovely...Both the premises and the treatment. Too bad it's so short! |

Lovely! I really liked the bit about the bruise on his neck, he must have practised a lot. |
