Author's Response: When I started writing HP fics, it was with a very tongue-in-cheek style, often making fun of fanfiction tropes, pitfalls, and bad writing. The over-the-top fairy tales are meant to poke fun at fanfiction as well. I'm glad you find them entertaining. It's often a toss-up between readers who think they are funny and those who find them annoying and distracting from the main storyline.
