Beautiful piece Teddy, I've always shuddered at the thought of being aware but paralysed like Hermione was. It's a terrifying idea and it was beautiful that he gave her exactly the comfort she needed (as seemingly grudging as it was) such a wonderful story :)
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, it is one of those ideas that terrifies me as well. The idea that someone has the ability to break you out of that horrible shell is comforting to me. |

Lovely as always. There was such a strong sense of foreboding I had to read the last paragraph when I was about halfway through because I knew I'd cry like a baby if he didn't let her in, her soul forever in his pocket.
Author's Response: Thank you so very much! It's such an enormous compliment when someone has to read forward to the end. I do it too! <3 |

Love the writing. Why the names Roland and Dana dove? Was it a nod to the dark tower (haven't read it), or something else I missed?
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, the name Roland was a nod toward the Dark Tower, a series I love very much. Dana and Dove were chosen because they were short and alliterative, but were just names that came out of my head. |
