| Thoroughly enjoyed this story. And major kudos to you. I've never been able to end any of my stories any way except happily. The fact that you listened to you Muse and stayed true to the story (knowing it might upset people) makes me like the story even more.

| I usually avoid unhappy endings in stories. I would say that there's far too much angst and unhappiness in the real world to let it also take a portion of my "me" time. However, in this case, I'm glad I didn't.
It is written beautifully. Your skill in representing both characters makes up for any sadness I feel over these two characters never being able to be on the same plane of existence. | It was a really heartbreaking story, but I could "feel it in the air" when I read the previous chapters, that something bad is going to happen.
I think that Snape wasn't cruel or bad, simply just human, and I think that anyone would want to escape anyway they can, but maybe Hermione. She would sacrifice herself for a loved one. Hogwarts knew this, that's why it knew that Severus would be the next Headmaster. (At least I interpret it like this :D).

Thank you for this. I am thrilled. You interpreted it perfectly, right down to the fact that a person trapped inside a barren desert of a prison for 30 years would be willing to do almost anything, including allowing the woman he loved, to do whatever rash thing she could think of to free him. I deliberately left a lot of things unsaid, and in other archives, I have been crucified for this story. Here at Ashwinder, however, I have been shown such a level of understanding and support the likes of which have humbled and overwhelmed me. | Fan-freaking-tastic. That was raw and exquisitely painful, yet the perfect ending. Sometimes the story picks it's path and you just write it down. This felt like one of those and I love that you honored the story and the underlying muse by not trying to sugar-coat it. Great story and great ending. So real and authentic. | Wonderful chapter. I think this is the first time I have seen anyone mention a scar from Fluffy. But that is so true, he would bear a scar on his leg. I felt his vulnerability at the end was very touching. Author's Response: Thank you so much! | |||
