| Oh Teddy that pulled at the heartstrings and yet was so poignant and redemptive. In the end they knew what to give each other. On a more personal note I pulverised my left wrist 23 years ago and had an external fixator on it. I coped for 6 weeks until it had to be removed and after the nurse had unsuccessfully attempted to PULL each rod out...the sister showed her the x-rays that showed that they were screwed into the bone and had to be unscrewed back out. To say I was rather traumatised is putting it mildly. I can use it now thank god mainly due to the Irish physiotherapist who helped me afterwards......oh and no compo for me either. | Simply breathtaking...as I reached midway through, I felt tears prickling at my eyes and by the last few lines, the water shed had broken.
