| So I haven't even sunk into this fix yet but I just lol'd. What word art you create! Here, this killed me: "He had certainly not had the best role model for most of his parents' train wreck of a marriage, but his swotty little fart machine of a wife had decent provenance, as they say. Their marriage, as she was fond of saying, had good bones." -----as a much loved wife who tends to take great glee in fanning the covers after letting one rip...this made me howl. Thanks for sharing. I believe you've captured both Snape and Hermione in here...a tinge of melancholy on Snape's persona. The touch of realistically authoritative Hermione...
Most of all, I commend your interpretation of the chars.

| "Followed by the gentle threat on a beneficent Obliviate" yup, that sounds just about right, hahaha XD I do so love how you write Severus, the somewhat emotionally stunted, closet romantic who almost always puts both feet firmly in his mouth when he talks to someone he fancies ;) Hermione was just gas in the first chapter, such a hard ass, haha.
