That was an amusing read. Bravo on coming up with such a unique premise. I look forward to reading more of your stories.

Wow that had to be awkward to learn to live with. and a bit disturbing. Glad that she took some form of revenge. What was Hagrid thinking?!!? Cool that kid like Hagrid. thanks for sharing. I liked it tons.

Surely this is complete now.

Author's Response: As I understand it, Celisnebula is on her own here these days. That means she's got a lot of work on her shoulders alone.

One of the services that had to go was the emails sent out to inform authors when a new chapter of theirs has been posted (or, in my case, my epilogue). So, I'd been checking Ash every day to see if the epilogue had posted. Unfortunately, before I could log in to Ashwinder to check this story's status, I saw the email notification for your review (those are generated automatically).

Thanks, verasuspense, for having made that clearer for me. Now it seems obvious! I must have been overly tired. Still, though--Hagrid is his last name. Wouldn't they 'probably call their first son' Rubeus Neville? Just asking!

JK : I think the line would have been better if it said "They'll probably call their first SON Hagrid Neville", which causes Harry to think of how he stuck his second son with the name Albus Severus.

I love this story! :) I hope it wont' be long before it's all finished and I can read the whole thing! I think you mean "sentient" rather than "sapient", though; sapient means "hopeful."

Author's Response: I'm glad you like the story!!

I am afraid, however, that you have been misinformed about the meaning of "sapient".

I fully don't recall what you are referring to (I wrote this story a year ago), but the difference between "sentient" and "sapient" is different to what you think it is.

Sapient, which is derived from the same root as the "sapiens" in Homo sapiens, does not mean "hopeful; it means "full of knowledge" or "having or showing wisdom or judgement" and is often used to distinguish between sentient organisms (those that are aware/have consciousness) and sapient organisms (those that are capable of reasoning).

If the sentence you read was about any of the Magical Creatures H was trying to prove were capable of higher thought (and therefore eligible for Being status), then I did, indeed, mean to use "sapient".
