| Unbreakable Vow? Why does Severus always make some Unbreakable Vow? ;)
I hope you will soon clear the mystery... Author's Response: To answer your question much, much too literally, Snape always makes Unbreakable Vows because otherwise you run into the problem of a Secret Keeper and, as it turns out, there is no such thing as a Wand Oath. (I thought there was, but I think it's because I read too much fanfiction.) It also makes everything... Very Serious. ;) | |||

| O...kay. Here I thought we were finally going to get some explanation, and instead we get more mystery! So Snape (or someone who appeared to be Snape) definitely died and was buried, and Hermione tried very hard to save him. But what is Filius so worried about? An Unbreakable Vow? Threatened by a "silly infa[tuation]? So the charade is over (if they've found what they think they've found), but what of the Vow? And what did Filius think Snape was offering Hermione? (By the way, it's ne--with acute accent on the e--for a man, nee--with acute accent on the first e--for a woman, the French participle of "born" adjusted for gender. Also, I think you mean winced, not minced. I suppose a blow to the hip area might make *some* people take tiny little steps, but I wouldn't expect Hermione to be so affected.) Author's Response: Thank you so much for your comments! It all comes together, I promise, so long as I can get it in working condition--and the next installment will be much more informative. Thank you even more for your corrections! My Beta speaks less French than I do (which I wouldn't have thought was possible, but there you have it), and spell check only catches so much. ;) | |||
