Yes! That's a very plausible and convincing broken ex-spy you have there, with no tragedy or romance about him whatsoever but enough self-honesty to suggest a worthwhile person is in there. And of course enough wit to be a challenge for an older, wearier knowitall who needs one. I'd love to see more. |
