| Tease ;p I doubt I was the only one who expected Hermione to wake up first there. I'm worried about the Weasleys though. Interesting that Ron is taking the initiative mostly on his own and trying to move forward. I hope Ginny won't do anything drastic and poor, poor George. Thanks for the update, I'm still here! Author's Response: Yes, alas, for I AM a tease!! Ginny's pretty strong, and George has his family... and Ron's getting help at St Mungo's.. but it's not like they're going to get over it all at once. | I'm impressed with Harry's reaction actually. He's able to stop himself and step back before really overreacting. When I think about JKR's Harry I feel like this is exactly how he would mature beyond the books. As with other reviewers I also enjoyed seeing Severus in a comforting role. I wonder how Hermione will react hehe. Author's Response: I'm sure we'll see her reaction soon! And I'm impressed with Harry, too, though there is a reason behind it :-D | |||

| Catching up--I'd missed a bunch of your updates somehow. But this was a great chapter: Harry being given the information about Snape, which needed to happen, however angry it made him, and Severus, learning how satisfying it is to soothe someone, which I can see as an equally important epiphany. But when on earth is Hermione going to confide in Snape (or Draco or Harry) how badly stymied she is in finding her parents? Something tells me Snape could (and would) help a lot! (And what a perfect post-war task for him.) This is a wonderful story. I look forward to more frequent updates. Author's Response: Sorry about the missed updates. ^^.; I'm glad you liked the chapter! I think that now Hermione's gotten her wand back and has told Harry about Snape, I'm fairly certain she'll start asking for help of her own. :) One thing at a time, after all. :) | |||

| Oh, dear. Harry and his temper. :( Hopefully he comes around soon; Hermione definitely doesn't need the extra stress. I do love the image of Severus in the role of comforter. As foreign as it seems to his nature, I imagine that if he chose to do it, he'd be more than adequate. Great chapter! Author's Response: Thank you! Harry does have a temper, but I'm sure he'll calm down soon. And Severus is surprisingly good at being comforting, I think. I mean, he IS head of house, and I'm sure even Slytherins get home sick. But I think it's hard to tell who's taking more comfort at the moment - her or him? | |||

| I'm pleased that Severus' mother is alive but curious about why she's in St. Mungo's. I hope Hermione figures out where her parents are. I think everyone's in a strange mood because the Battle is over and its repercussions are just being realized. Author's Response: I'll actually get into a bit why she's in St Mungo's in the chapter I'm currently working on :) and that's so very true - people are definitely at a loss at the moment :) | |||

| I happen to love sandwiches. They're one of my most favorite things to eat. I guess it would be kind of awkward to have to write to anyone and explain that you are still alive. I suppose you could say you'd been in a coma. Author's Response: I love sandwiches! So easy! So versatile! So tasty!!!! But I suppose Draco's unused to them and in such vast quantities and they're all the same type of sandwich lol.. poor guy. It must be awkward, I agree. How much can he say without making Lucius upset with Draco? How much can he say without giving something away? What if the letter's intercepted? Such worries!! | |||

| I know how Severus feels--I hate sitting home and being an invalid. I'm sure he's anxious to get back to work of some sort. I wonder how Severus will explain his absence if he's still alive. Where's he been? The idea of Draco in muggle suits is hilarious. Author's Response: Being sick or stuck in bed is awful, I agree! And we'll get to that...
