| I can't even deal with you right now, this was so incredible. Snape internal monologue is so uniquely difficult to do really well and especially without the fallback support of contextual things like a potions lab or professor robes or death eater what-have-you. But you are like I don't know some kind of literary master. Witchcraft, I tell you! There were so many great moments, and I'm sorry I can't point out all of them, but one that comes to mind is that thrilling parallel you make between Snape and a snake that still has its fangs but will forever only use them to protect and never to harm. UGH, I can't. Seriously, awesome writing. I would like to have your talent, please and thank you. Author's Response: Thank you so much! That was such a wonderful review to receive.
