Reviews for Better Than Life

I haven't even finished the story yet, but I need clarification, so I MUST ask the meaning of this Brit-speak: "Hermione would quite happily have exchanged any amount of magical whimsy for a functioning microwave and a pitch near a handy Iceland." 'A pitch near a handy Iceland'? A field (like a Quidditch pitch)? A handy 'Iceland'? What's that--a refrigerator? Appreciate any help you can give this confused Yank! (And I thank you, so much!)

Author's Response: Sorry, that is an incredibly British line! The pitch would be a place to pitch the tent, ie a handy space next to Iceland. Iceland are a chain of shops selling frozen foods (largely of the ready meal/TV dinner variety).

Lovely! I love how candid and blunt Hermione was with him in their first scene!

Author's Response: She certainly got straight to the point!

So Hermione gets a job that doesn't bore her, a place of her own to live, no more Weasleys and Severus Snape. I just hope its not all just a daydream after all. ;-)

Author's Response: Imagine waking up from all that :( Nope, she gets to keep it!

To tell the truth, I despised Molly Weasley ever since the Triwizard Tournament, when she believed every word Skeeter wrote. Hard not to despise someone that stupid.

Author's Response: She certainly does play favourites!
