| I almost didn't read it, I really don't enjoy Severus with other women. But as I hit the back button and scrolled through other stories, I paused. I thought, 'This is Teddy. Her stories are like unwrapping presents on Christmas. I love everything she writes. Just read it, it's bound to be enjoyable and sexy. Just relax and let it happen. Maybe it won't be that bad that theres another girl.' And I did read it, and Teddy, you really are a miracle worker. It didn't bother me, at all really. Because it was still about them. You are brilliant, and you pulled this off. So, you said you wrote outside of your comfort zone, and I can totally agree that this was me reading outside of my comfort zone, and yet it worked. Just goes to show how epic and amazing you are. ;)

| Well you know me Teddy...the only other bird Sev can get jiggy with other than Herms is me BUT.....I felt that little Ginny was acting as a sort of hands on sexual counsellor /instructor so as long as no Sevs or Herms were injured in the making of this highly erotically charged and well written fic....I'm very pleased. Phew! Was that one sentence? And like your previous reviewer I also felt that we should hear more about Dave the Gargoyle.....Quasimodo's wedding dance song.....the bells are ringing...for me and gargoyle.....well done me dear. | I am constantly stunned when I read the reviews of other readers. I don't understand why one feels the need to write them if all they can do is be snide. I will step off my soap-box for the remainder of the review.
Excellent beginning! I'm not sure if this made the LJ recipient happy but it certainly brightened my day. Sometimes it is the ones that we desire the most that are the hardest to approach, and unfortunately what is plain to everyone else's sight, eludes those directly involved. This fic has shown the awkward hesitation, angst, self doubt and loathing in dramatic relief that everyone has the misfortune to go through, and I loved every word of it. | Considering that you probably spent at least part of the time writing this wanting to hiss at Ginny to get the hell away from Snape, the end result is as deft as always.
My absolute favourite part? That his gargoyle is called Dave. Priceless. Author's Response: Thank you, sweetie! I must say, I started this story thinking, 'no sweat', then a few days later I'm crying to stgulik my beta, "Jules, I don't want Ginny touching him!!!" She patted me on the head and said, "Just pretend it's Hermione, then change the name!" It was tougher than I thought - I don't like sharing him. I'm so glad you got the 'Dave' joke. I loved giving him 'Trigger's' name for Rodney. | |||
