Reviews for The Heir

I just had to read all the reviews first, since I'm such a nosy nellie! But what wasn't asked was, why was Snape watching her - was he expecting them to be jumped? Secondly, did Hermione know Snape was there? Was she a plant for some reason? And those people at Rabunows must be more Muggle than wizard, to have been using fists instead of spells - or have I misread??

Author's Response: Snape, who knows a thing or two about spying, didn't buy her story about historical research, and he's been stalking her (also, that's what he does when she's away.) As to Sarin, if to judge from some ruffians I knew (professionally), even if you've got a gun, nothing compares to the "wonderful" feeling of punching and hitting a man directly, and feeling the blood and the pain first-hand, so to say. And yet those people are entitled to fair treatment in court... Thanks a lot for your reviews.

When I see a new chapter, I am always very excited. I didn't have much time the first time and when I glossed it over, I saw I would need some time to read it carefully. Very interesting chapter. A lot of new information and a lot of action going on. The first part with the fisherman really drew me in. It set the stage perfectly. I am not quite sure what Bill and Hermione were searching for. Some physical clues or pieces from the curse that Hermione things she has. I didn't realise Ginny was still such a friend for Hermione. It was nice to see she is still an ally. I am curious to see what Snape will have her doing. There are a lot of clues for the readers, but I am still wondering what she will be doing for him. I loved how well she sees Snape. When he isn't talking, he is indeed a very white knight. The little bits about her past with Lucius were nice to see as well. Well, I might be lieing there, it frustrated me very much, since I still don't know what excactly happend in that time, lol. Who attacked them? Will Snape survive? Will Hermione survive her run in the crew of Rabunow? Will she be sent to Bellatrix? If Snape survives, will he be in time? See, what your cliffhanger does to me?! And I know more questions will pop up after I post my review! I should probably follow Proulxes. I might miss half the chapter, but I won't have that many questions going on in my mind, lol. Hmm, maybe not the best plan ;p Going to wait now for the next chapter. And let's hope all the questions you put in my head, won't drive me nuts, hahaha.

Author's Response: A very short thanks for always beuing here because i gotta run and i ll expand on wednesday. Juqt if you read carefully what she says about Ron u have half rhe answer what she found in Lucius. Like me better now?? Lol:-) 10x

Author's Response: A snap at a keyboard- thank you very much. I like it that you indeed see Snape as a problematic character, whose actions are good if his behavior much less... at least that's what it seems now. I think according to canon Snape's psyche is irremediably skewed - and even more when you'll see how I reconstructed his past- so, his being a "good man" would be a decision for him, hardly stuck to, and not a natural penchant ( it can be said the decision is based on his core goodness, even if it's not apparent at the surface...) Did you advance on my clue concerning her motives? I'm working on a forum where ppl can exchange their guesses about the various whys here..

I love this chapter. I love that she is not defeated and is still able to hold her own with him. Your S is nasty and complex and so engrossing.

Author's Response: Thanks:-) It's one of my favorite chaps, too. And how would you expect he reacts After she got him playing with a rubber, duck more or less? Somtimes i Pity him( he he)

Aargh! I missed the fact that it was Snape all along as the fisherman. *Blushes* That'll teach me not to read stories at 6am on a tiny phone screen without my glasses and reviewing straight away!! Lol! I still hope the story helps him to find a way of getting out of the water before he drowns.... :Px

Author's Response: Thanks. IM also on a phone, which is why my answers are short, and i cant correct a few typos i saw survived. My deepest apologies to all readers and i swear to cOrrect within 72 hours... Btw you did see it was S from the beginning:-)

Aw, he loves them....I'm confused by Proulx's review (and can't remember how to spell his/her name). Wasn't the fisherman Snape? I'm too tired for all this! This was a great chapter, but I'm still waiting for the "big reveal" as to how Hermione became a "Breeder" and what the heck is going on in the Wizarding World. Who is in charge, exactly? Yeah, yeah, I'll be patient. This is a fascinating story; great work.

Author's Response: Thanks a lot for the compliments! I'm trying:-) Yes, it was Snape all along. Kingsley is the Minister, but his authority is under attack and the regime unstable:-)

Oh, no..... you're going to save Bill and Fleur's money and get Hermione a real wand, yes? This is the 12th chapter already! You have to save Severus because the story isn't labeled 'tragedy.' And what's up with Lucius's money making Hermione rich? Narcissa needs to bite the dust! Thanks for updating.

Author's Response: iT'S not up to me... it's the story... but if somebody saves Severus, I'll also be grateful. Lucius did give Hermione incentives... some of them better than others:-) Narcissa is one of the most complex characters, in my mind... but as you said, it's the 12th chapter and there just isn't room for everybody's story. Thanks a lot for reviewing!

Why if he is a 'good man' does she not tell him the truth. When did she pawn her wand? very exciting chapter.

Author's Response: Snape is asking himself the same questions exactly..:-). Thanks a lot for reviewing along...

Oh. You're not going to let him drown, do you?

Author's Response: ITs not me.... Thanks for reviewing :-)
