| It is still heartbreaking to see Hermione in this situation. The little hints of her past are very interesting and make me want to know more. I really wonder how she became a breeder when obviously she was doing well before. Severus is very well written. I am also curious about his past.
I do hope things will turn better soon. Do you know how many chapters this fic will be? Author's Response: Thank you... from your reviews it sounds I found the perfect reader :-) I know where the story's going. Depending on available time and other projects, it should be between 15 and 20 chapters... unless I throw the sequel (next generation) in...or I feel like it. I'm interested in seeing the healing processes of good people scarred by many bad events... There will be ups and downs. though. Thanks again for your feedback. | |||

| I would probably have stopped reading this after the first chapter if the rating hadn't included 'Romance' and "Hurt/Comfort', indicating that Severus won't continue to be as horrible as he has been up to now. At least in this chapter, we discover that not quite as bad as he seems. Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. | I'm only reading this in the hope of having Hermione's situation--and Severus' attitude--improve. Emotional and sexual abuse does not make for enjoyable reading, so I'm not sure how long I can stand to read. Having said all that, I do appreciate the quality of your storytelling. Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing. Your compliment is much appreciated, all the more as I do like your writing a lot. The situation will indeed improve (the story needed to be solidly anchored before). It has already, btw: she's got the baby's future assured, and a source of income. As to his attitude... if you read well the last chapter, you see he's not that horrid. In fact, I had thought to call the story Redemption, but that's for later. | |||

| Oh, I just get more curious with every word I read!! A very good second chapter. I am still wondering what world they live in now. I really feel for Hermione, but I do think she has strenght left, since she will do anything for her baby, who has a lovely name by the way. Author's Response: Thank you so much :-) Baby's name will be lengthily expanded upon... sometime down the line. Hermione's not the only one in trouble, though. | What happened to my review? It posted, and now its disappeared. Let's see if I can recreate it: "At first I thought the chapter was taking place at Azkaban. I'm not sure where it IS taking place - Severus' house ? There is enough angst in this chapter alone to justifiy the rating. " Author's Response: Thanks.
