| Until Severus and Hermione got married I thought there was some caveat against muggle marriage, but then they did and the consummation was not needed AND they had two years to conceive, so why on earth didn't everyone do just that from the start? Since the documents can be magically forged. Everyone would have two years to overturn the law. Not to mention the idea of telling Fudge beforehand. What stopped him from simply making amendments to the law instead of caving?
Sorry, sorry, the story is well written (except for the ritual humiliation of Snape), so it bugs me when I see things that seem like logical inconsistencies. |

| Thank you! This is very nicely written and definitely original.
The only thing that bugs me is that the way Snape is represented is more reminiscent of Hermione's fantasy of being more clever than anyone rather than how Snape would actually behave. It's easy to believe in his general irritation and snapping but much harder to believe in his stupidity, like the small humiliations in the previous chapters and him not realising that he doesn't have to get married if he's infertile. In that moment I actually expected it to be an attempt to help her rather than him being stupid, it is a bit out of character for a logical person like Snape.
Sorry, there is a second thing after all. About the accommodations. Why did they need to know people to hide them at all (except for the progressing of the plot, just needs an explanation, that's all.) Most of them were fine hiding in the muggle world, why not simply rent a few houses? Harry definitely has enough money to fund it.
