I am very glad that I have found your story. I do not know the film that prompted it, but I like it very much on its own, thank you. |

I love Father Goose!! This is the first time Snape looked like anyone other than Alan Rickman in my head. Thank you for the laughs. |

This is a wonderful, first - class tale.
i did'nt know Father Goose - going to see it, it'is now on a to-do list.. I kept thinking of South Pacific, the pair, fighting their attraction. Hermione reminds me of Anne Bancroft - intelligent, sensual, and very feistily feminine.
Severus has more than a bit of Humphrey Bogart's African Queen captain about him - all that firewhiskey. this is so well-spun this story; Laughing over their delight in games- got to learn conkers_- Happily it is autumn- and conkers are at hand in the woods.
Do write more stories - this is an undiscovered Gem!!!!!!! |

Can't believe I hadn't reviewed the final chapter last year when it was first available, but looking at the date, I must've been out of town. A terrific little tale, well told! Thank you! |

I have so much love for this story! I adored 'Father Goose' originally, and you've managed to make Severus 'Walter Eckland' Snape as curmudgeonly as he should be, and Hermione 'Catherine Freneau' Granger as prim and feisty as she should be. That you adapted as beautifully for the HP-verse has made my every read of this delightful piece a joy. Thank you, dearest Pokey! |
