| I just loved the footnotes! This was a really wonderful chapter! So much was said in this one chapter and really brought back memories of cannon (thanks, I needed that!) and it all blended so well. I thought your explanations about Severus' doe was well thought out. Bravo for not changing his doe to something else. Author's Response: Thank you! For some reason, it felt wrong to give him anything else. Plus he's once again speaking in the Voice Of The Author when he explains it. It drives me crazy when patronuses change left and right. I followed your advice and read the whole story in one go at fanfiction.net. What shall i say?
You're responsible for one night with very little sleep but it really was worth the dark circles around my eyes the other day.
I'm very impressed with your work, this story is definitely located somewhere at the upper half of my personal top ten.

| Just catching up on lots of chapters. I love your theories of the wizarding world: the patroneses, but mostly, the idea of Wizarding Britain as a failed state is genius. Also, I love that the conflict in the story comes from the plot, and not from manufactured, immature interpersonal drama. And finally, Luna! I adore Luna, and your adult Luna is the best. Thanks for posting this story. Author's Response: Thank you--I'm really glad you're enjoying it. I'm so happy you like Luna--I really like her. I didn't love her in the books, but I fell in love writing her. There will be some interpersonal drama later on, but if you squint it'll pass pretty quickly. | |||
