| I like the mature Ron. Excellent chapter. Author's Response: I like Ron, period. I hate what fanon does to him. In canon, he's a dumb-but-decent guy. He grew the hell up in DH. Canon gives us plenty of reasons for him and Hermione not to work out, and we don't have to turn him into a bad guy to make it happen. | |||

| I loved this chapter. So many happy things took place here! I was glad that Leopold decided to change his name. Maybe this will break the cycle and get these children back into the world. | Ahhh, I really love this story. It's so sad how the children are and I love the tender relationship that Severus and Hermione are building. Also I like mature Ron - he's not always immature in the books, they just made him that way in the films. Really looking forwrad to reading more. Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you like Ron. As much as I view Severus and Hermione as an OTP, I actually really like Ron as a character. In canon, he's a dumb-but-decent guy. I don't like how he's turned into this cartoonish villain who's racist, violent, a drunk, etc. In the books, he was always the most outraged at hearing someone call Hermione a Mudblood, probably because he had the greatest understanding of what it meant. The idea that he would ever say that to her (or hit her) is OOC. So in my fics, he won't be going that road. Canon gives us plenty of reasons for why they wouldn't work out as a couple--we don't need to roast Ron on a spit to make it happen. | |||

| Love it! It is funny, but you are the only other person I have come across that has Severus have two patronuses. In my story, he has the doe of course, but another (different ship) one too. I have always imagined, he could change his based on which happy memory he conjurer up in his mind. In my story, I am having him head for a third...his own...rather than reflecting those he loves. But it is cool you have that two patronus thing in there. Love this story. Thanks for writing! Author's Response: Thanks! But I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean by two patronuses (patroni?). | I am enjoying this story so very much! I hope you spend a little time with the older children who have left Hogwarts-they seem to need it. And kudos to Hermione. I think perhaps she doesn't need the "safety" of the Ministry any longer because she's discovered another, safer place. Author's Response: Thank you! Severus speaks my own thoughts about Hermione's career: she isn't a Ministry pencil-pusher. It's beneath her, and she realizes it, too. Attention will definitely be paid to the older children. I don't want to give anything away, so I won't. Just rest assured that I haven't forgotten about them. Just trust me :) | |||

| damn it man!!!!!! for one- wonderful chapters. 2- how many chapters are we waiting for? dont get me wrong I love this story.....but If I knew where you lived...I would walk into your house and sit down at your computer.....everyone in your house would be all like "what the hell? and I would be all like, "its cool, im a fan" Author's Response: Haha, thank you. This story is 30 chapters total, so we're just over a third of the way through. I do have a link to where this story is already posted in its complete form on my profile, if you find waiting is hard (every time I post a new chapter it has to be approved by the mods, and that usually takes a few days, hence the space between updates--I'd post it more quickly if I could!). | |||
