I imagine that they are both "in their head" kind of people and sometimes those kinds of people are less experienced in bed. Plus, when would Severus have had time or even Hermoine and so, I thought yours was very real and apt description. Love it. Ron has entered the Lion's den....oh boy! Author's Response: I don't see either one has having had much experience. Most people write Severus as only having had a handful of one-night stands (usually with hookers, which given where his girls are, he will NOT be doing in this fic!) and yet is some sort of sex god. I don't think that fits--if you're just having random casual sex, you're not learning to please a partner. That comes only from having sex with someone you actually care about. I won't go into his past here, because the story will cover it, but I don't see him as having had much experience, so I think that it manifests in being less-than-confident. It's apparently against the laws of SSHG physics to say otherwise, hence my explanation :) I'm glad you think it was true to the characters; I thought it was. loreen77 2012.02.19 - 03:37AM 10: Now What? The idea that a man who doesn't form relationships and avoids most people somehow has amazing sex skills (which are learned) didn't really work with this story.
