| Oh I've really enjoyed this story Teddy and your notes at the end give me a bit of a further insight into how your wonderfully depraved and entrancing mind works. This was not just a story about the Dom/Sub world I have always enjoyed reading about but also about genuine friendship and how the war survivors honoured their heroes and their fallen. It's very refreshing also to find another Enya enthusiast. I've always loved her music and will now listen to the tracks you mentioned with new ears. Hermione terms Severus "sex on legs" and before I got into AR this soubriquet applied IMHO to both Sting....no further explanation required...and Thomas Muster...a fit as hell Austrian tennis player in the 90s /early 00s if my memory serves me well. Must be something about blonds. Thank you for this dear Teddy and sorry I couldn't review earlier...I was looking after Satan's imps....sorry....my gorgeous grand-children. | Ah yes Teddy. A touch of the Thorn Birds and a bit of the Barchester Chronicles. I'm a lapsed catholic you know but even I feel that I need to say a few Hail Marys after reading this. BTW...his garb in John Gabriel Borkman was very victorian and quite severe and although my husband was sat beside me and he's well let's say over 55 I was staring at the poor guy's nether regions as well as his gorgeous face a few times! | Thank you so much for this story. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed it. Don't get too comfortable, indeed. I'm glad it wasn't too angsty and the D/s didn't send me running like most do... they tend to make me very uncomfortable. I think it was the inclusion of all of the other aspects of their relationship and life together that kept me from running away (blushing madly, of course). You painted a picture of a very mature, solid and loving adult relationship between Severus and Hermione and I applaud you. Author's Response: A true, living D/s relationship is exactly this - a relationship, and I wanted to show it's just not all sex, sex, sex! ;) I'm so glad you liked it, really. | |||
