| This was a very riveting chapter! :) The dialogue was perfect for each of the characters. I enjoyed seeing Ron being more thoughtful during their heated discussion about their upcoming plans to destroy the Horcruxes. Also, the ending was a sweet treat! I'm glad that Severus has decided that "option 2" isn't a viable choice anymore. :) Author's Response: Thank you for reading, s50m! | The first time I read this I was so swept up by the action in both segments that I neglected to compliment the drama of the Dark Lord's entrance. | Well, that was interesting. Their conversation was enlightening. You grasped the naiveness of Hermione greatly. Her emotional rawness to new feelings and the same with Severus. It was very genuine and lovely. I do understand the side of Severus that just can't fathom someone 20 years his junior finding something special in him. Plus, feeling like it is just wrong, but Hermione speaks with such maturity and their commonality is their intelligence. Always works for me! Author's Response: They seem to have found a common ground in the chaos surrounding them. Both, like you mentioned, deal with this newly developed attachment in entirely different ways. Severus Snape won’t give in that easily, bearing in mind a nightmare was all it took to consider pushing her away. Hermione is truly the naïf, but she’s finally showing some of that renowned Gryffindor bravado when dealing with him. Only time will show who ends up the victor when all is said and done. | As Ron would say, that chapter was "bloody brilliant!" :) I love how Hermione and Severus's relationship is progressing - they seem so comfortable with each other. And I'm so glad that Harry has been cured and is ready to get back to business. I can tell that you have spent a ton of time writing and perfecting this story.
