| Sorry, forgot to add - I also find the foster-thing horrifying. Even children of arranged / forced marriages are often loved and cherished, especially by their mothers. I realize this is just fanfic and parody, but it's a horrifying concept. Sorry. Author's Response: A mother would love the child she'd conceived during rape. But this is fanfic, and this is set in a world where Marriage Law is common. So yes, the concept is horrifying. But who ever cared about mothers? Certainly not the government. And I talk of experience here. Thanks for reading it and leaving not one, but two reviews. I take it the story left a bitter aftertaste; I also take it that it bothered you. Sorry for that, I usually try not to upset my readers. Still, I am known to write cruel and bitter stories sometimes, and much worse than that one. Just as a warning should you stumble over my name again. But - if I write truly awful stories, I usually give the proper warning at the beginning. Did I say thanks for reading and reviewing? | |||

| Excellent premise, but the vitriolic words made me squirm when I realized the ruse. Author's Response: I guess anything less nasty wouldn't have worked. Plus, I needed them to stay in character.
