Oh, this was so marvellous!
I hadn't seen the appeal of a Regency style story before, but you totally sold me on the idea - I've now gone out and read a bunch of them, and this one still stands out for me. The things that impressed me most were how you kept the integrity of the characters and their motivations, and the fact the Hermione/Snape pairing didn't get lost under the other romances. At no point did I feel like I wanted to skip ahead to the next time they interacted. Also it was funny and charming and had a plot! It was wonderful! |

This was so much fun to read! All the details of Regency entertainment and clothing, the affection for the horses, the Hp/Dm romance, the Lm/Oc romance and of course all of our beloved couples' delicious interactions--every thing was a joy to read, |

I really enjoyed this story...and don't think the mentioning of Colonal Brandon, cancelled Christmas, and a fly in the ointment were lost on me! :) |

I'm really hoping for a sequal! |

This was really a beautiful, and terribly romantic story. I, too, felt like I was drawn into the luxuriously indolent world of Jane Austen. I will read this again, to be sure! |

Best b'day present was finding a new story you had written! Covering Heyer to Austen your stories are always incredibly entertaining to read. Loved it. And wouldn't mind an epilogue. ;) |

I think I loved every word of this. It didn't have any of the "forced" conflict with characters willfully misunderstanding each other that's tragically common, but logical, real character motivations! Wonderful through and through. |
