| Lovely chapters Teddy, as always. The last chapter reminded me a bit of AprilGrey’s Happy Christmas, what with Hermione bringing in Snape and fixing him up for Christmas, and the sexual abuse in a supposedly fluffy story. *hugs Snape protectively* But nice to see that Hermione still hexes first even a decade later. What a creep! Rose’s selfless compassion way lovely to see. I’m glad he got to be pampered and taken care of while he was ill, the poor man obviously needed it. So sad that he resigned himself to merely surviving the next 15 years of his probation rather than living, though he didn’t really have much of a choice given the Ministry’s restrictions. | Love it when I see a "Teddy Radiator" story. Everything in your stories just flow wonderfully from the character development, storyline, dialogue is superb. The reader is just absorbed in your stories. So glad to hear you will continue to add more. Even though the HP movies are done, glad to see writers still coming up with stores. | Rose is very much her mother's daughter. I can't remember if the subject is every mentioned in canon, but in fan fiction, unwed mothers are despised by the wizarding world. Muggles are much more tolerant , about that at least, so it makes sense that Hermione is choosing to raise her daughter there. Quite aside from the fact that she wants her to know about that part of her heritage. Author's Response: To be honest, I didn't give much thought to the fanon issue regarding unwed mothers (I can be horribly blinkered at times), but I just thought that Hermione would probably want to have some space between her and the Weasleys, whom I feel would have just absorbed Rose into the collective if given the chance. Later in the story, you'll see more about this, but it just made sense to me that Rose would spend the first part of her life like a Muggle, as Hermione knew how much things would change once she reached Hogwarts.
