| I knew he would come back. He would never have done a bunk on them. I had faith in this Severus. I must admit, I giggled at the phrase "unspeakable nose". I also have to admit to crying after reading the proposal scene. This story has a beauty beyond measure and I thank you so much for writing it. My favorite character deserved so much better than to receive a gruesome death while everyone still thought him a traitor in the very place where an evil childhood nemesis nearly had him torn to shreds by a werewolf. I have to stop now... I still get all pissed off when I think about it. Thank Merlin for fanfiction!!! You are one of my favorite authors and you rock! (Why don't the ratings go to 11?) Author's Response: Thank you so much! Your kind and lovely comments make me feel absolutely wonderful. I feel the exact same way as you - I hated that this complex, fascinating character (JKR's best, in my opinion) was treated so badly - I just want the man we saw in the pensieve in The Prince's Tale to have a chance to have a better life, and I guess I'll keep writing fanfiction until I run out of ways to give him a happier ending than Jo Rowling did! | That was sooo intense in the beginning! I really didn't want to believe Severus would just up and leave them; I had to jump down a little bit in the story to read and make sure he came back! This is such a beautiful story, again, thank you for sharing and I'm very much looking forward to (although sadly as well) the ending.Sigh......... Author's Response: Thank you so much! I am so glad you have enjoyed it. I must say, I have rarely had a story affect me so much. This idea of giving this character acceptance and a happy ending. I have been quite emotional writing it. | Just returned from a dirrtty weekend in Harrogate and found you've updated. Lovely Yorkshire burrs a-plenty and Yorkshire puddings not to mention Afternoon Tea at Betty's...but as usual I digress. Teddy....riddle me this...do you or do you not read my mind, fantasies and dreams? Why do I ask....because you take the (very) rough drafts of my Severus imaginings and lewd thoughts and turn them into beautiful erotic prose. You see MY patronus is a tigress therefore Sev's (in my deluded head) would be a tiger. How the hell did you know? Too many coincidences baby....perhaps we were separated at birth. Author's Response: We met a lady who works in a local Wal-mart who's from Yorkshire, and the Hubs was delighted at another Brit - that makes two Northern lasses here who work in two different Wal-marts I merchandise, so I always take the time to bask in a little Northern lurve! I always look to my precious Muse for guidance, and he always steers me in the direction of those who are kindred spirits, so I'm not a bit surprised that I was able to 'tap' into your head a little - he does that all the time! ;) I'm glad you had a lovely dirrrty weekend with your Manc fella! | |||

| This was such a heartwarming chapter! You've managed to write a sort of feel good realism which is very refreshing among all fluff that is only sweet but highly unrealistic.
I was wondering if Severus got his magic restored without it being weakened because he was already happy before he got it back, so it felt in fruitful soil. When he would have been weakened and depressed it might have turned out different.
What I particularly liked about the smut - apart from the tasteful description - were the small but important details like Severus touching himself when looking at Hermione. I got the impression out of this that they feel very comfortable with each other, despite the fact they are quite inexperienced. It seems to me they are both willing to be open and honest with each other, not only in sharing their feelings about their relationship but also in building their sexual relationship. A truly promising and exciting start.
Hope you'll update soon. Does your story has one or two more chapters? Author's Response: Thank you so much. I think that having a stable life where he felt loved and accepted without magic was the reason. He had already stated that he could live without his magic if he didn't have to live without Hermione and Rose, and I felt like it was the 'if you love something, let it go, because it will always come back'. I also felt that, this first time might be better spent with them showing one another what they wanted. They are both observers; they both love research and it just felt right that they would want to 'see' first, before applying the theories, so to speak! The story has two more chapters; the next is in the queue, and hopefully will be up soon. I'm really glad you are enjoying it. | |||

| Wow, what wonderful lemons. Really well written smut is hard to do, yet this was perfect. Author's Response: Thank you. I started out writing original erotic fiction, but fanfiction is so much fun to write. I still love to write lemons, and Severus and Hermione seem to grow great lemons for me to squeeze! | |||
