My first guess as to who would want Remus dead would be Dolores Umbridge, but I doubt she knows much about the muggle world; she despises muggles almost as much as she does werewolves.

Evil, naughty cliffie, my Dear!!! I'm glad that our heroes have had a chance to at least put a few things together before the Aurors come crashing in. Hermione's whereabouts will definitely be known after that. Excellent chapter!!! :D ps.(I thought the use of Tesseract was an inspired choice for an architectural firm.) ;)

Nice, I look forward to what comes next. I want to do every mean and hurtful thing I can think of to Ron's lawyer and his wife. Wow, I really really hate them and I usually don't hate anyone. Want to see awful things happen to them yes, out right hate no. you have done wonderfully.

Author's Response: *grin* So you hate Maxwell and Maureen? Wait until you see what happens next!

Dear Doom, I remember reading part of this before and enjoying it quite a lot. What an intriguing start!

Author's Response: I'm so glad you're enjoying this one. I'm working on the next chapter!

Loving this story! Please tell me its going to keep being updated regularly :) mimi PS - as soon as I got the name of the lawyer, I kept thinking "bang bang Maxwell's silver hammer..." :) My vote is on him as the bad guy!

Author's Response: *chortle* I admit that's what I was listening to when I introduced Max into the story. I'm working on the next chapter.

I loved this play on words: "...built by the noted architect firm of Tesser & Ract". Not being mathematically inclined, but vaguely remembering the word, I looked up 'tesseract' and found it was a four-dimensional cube. No wonder they can transfigure wizarding space so well! Rowling herself couldn't have come up with a better name for wizarding architects! But I don't like or trust Maureen Weasley. "That horrible woman" is not Hermione, that's for sure. No wonder poor Hermione didn't get anything once she and Ron were divorced--between Maxwell and Maureen, they saw to that. I'm a bit surprised that Molly Weasley had so little regard for two of her grandchildren, though. I would have thought she might have tried to sneak something to Hermione--but maybe her resentment got the better of her, I don't know. Remus' death gets 'curiouser and curiouser'. Intriguing chapter--can hardly wait to see your next developments. Thanks for all your work.

Author's Response: Way back in elementary school, I had to read "A Wrinkle in Time". While I disliked the book, the notion of the tesseract stuck with me. And, as you say, it's the perfect name for a company of wizard architects. On Molly: I killed off all the Weasleys except Ron and Ginny in chapter one because Molly and Arthur wouldn't disown a grandchild, even a Squib. I'm very glad you're enjoying Varlet.

I like where it's going, I can't I say I know where exactly, but I have suspicions. What a neat update to enjoy on a Friday. Cheers and thanks!

Author's Response: Feel free to air your suspicions in reviews. I won't promise to confirm or deny them, but it's always fun for me to see what my readers think might be going on.
