She neither confirmed nor denied, only looking at him helplessly, but still, he thought it best to leave the tea for now. He arched an eyebrow at her, waiting for an explanation.
---Did you notice that she warned him off the tea before "spilling the beans"? meaning the entire cruciatus episode was completely unnecessary and making both characters look stupid? There are always a few plot holes, but since this is a major one I would suggest that you move the tea warning to after they broke the tongue-tie curse. (and still ignoring the fact that Snape had just thought about being alive because of his paranoia and therefore would not go around ingesting liquids that may have been tampered with). Other than some pretty big plot holes throughout the story so far, I do like your writing style and characterization.

| Just finished this in nearly one go and I'm blown away - this story is truly, truly spectacular. I've never read a fanfic that kept so true to the characters and was just so darn satisfying for an ss/hg 'shipper. You are unbelievably talented - please keep writing in whatever capacity, fanfic AND/OR your original work. There should be more of it in the world :) |
