Oh, the horrors to come... So glad Severus isn't alone... Great little chapter :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad he's not alone, too. |

"A short chapter to prepare the way for the horrors to come." Uh-oh. Things are about to go from bad (yet tolerable) to worse. Not looking forward to horrors, but we all know the framework of the story. Thank you for all your hard work on this.
Author's Response: Yep, afraid we've got to face the Battle of Hogwarts next, but I hope you will approve of the way the whole thing ends in a few chapter's time. Thanks for your nice review. |

Excellent chapter. I could almost feel the sense of isolation closing in on Hermione as each student dropped out of sight. ^_^
Author's Response: Thank you very much; glad you enjoyed it. :) |

Good chapter- got a good sense of the loneliness and isolation they would have. Glad Snape isn't having to go it alone.
Author's Response: I felt so sorry for him in DH; he was so alone. I had to help him. Thanks for reviewing. |

I'm assuming you meant Easter Holidays and not Eater Holidays? But this is just a fascinating story. Please, more soon!
Author's Response: If you have a problem with a mistake, aren't you supposed to email me rather than writing it in a review? Others have. |

I like your ideas about viewer perception impacting physical characteristics in the legilimency scene. It gives one likely reason for why pensieves do not seem to be used for evidence in Wizengamot trials. Thanks for the update! Looking forward to everything coming to a head!
Author's Response: Thank you! It seems likely that Severus would view Hermione in that way, so that's what she sees when she reads his mind. I took the idea from Trudi Canavan's 'Black Magician' trilogy. I have used a Pensieve as evidence in a trial in my other Ashwinder, though, so I might have shot myself in the foot there! It will all come to a head next chapter. |
