Would it kill you to write the next chapter and actually post the damn thing?! I'm dying here!

Author's Response: It is being written - or would you rather it was rubbish?

I was trying to say that I think his behavior is unacceptable. Your characterization is fine--it is not OOC within the parameters you set up for this story. As long as an author is internally consistent I am usually okay with it. The other comment is a totally separate issue, and I'm glad you will deal with it in coming chapters. Thanks for the response and happy writing--it's a good, compelling story.

Author's Response: Ah I see! Good to know your views on it - next chapter almost finished so I will upload it tonight as a valentine!

Snape is, in fact, dead wrong here. To say to your wife that its 'not your concern' that she's being called a whore and emotionally and physically being bullied is beyond comprehension. In this case, silence is agreement--the bullies will assume Snape is giving them permission to continue and they will only keep escalating. In terms of plausible suspension of disbelief, I do find it hard to swallow that McGonnagall or even Flitwick would allow that kind of behavior to continue in their classes. Surely McGonnagall noticed that Hermione ran out of her class...

Author's Response: Not sure I undertand what you are saying here - his behaviour is unacceptable or written OOC. As far as the other teachers, that will be dealt with in the next chapter.

Agree? No, I don't agree. (wishing that I could edit original post) See that he has a point, and that his teacher persona might have ingrained it -- yes I see that. But I think that he's terribly mistaken, foolish man. In the way that many teachers, etc., are mistaken when they choose to overlook egregious bullying.

Author's Response: Ah I see! That is exactly his issue, but more than that, he is too proud... All will be revealed!

Fantastic chapter. Hermione is right to see support from her husband. I am very curious to see what her actions will be. Congratulations on your success :)

So glad to see you back writing and I am loving your story! It's very well written and the pacing is wonderful. Poor Hermione; I'm fearful that it might take her being physically harmed before Severus stands up for her...keep up the great work!!

Author's Response: Glad you are enjoying it! The next chapter will be up soon!
