| I must be one of the few who do not find Severus to be completely out of character. I find him to be a man forced into something and trying to do what is required without even really thinking. Yes, I see it as rape as a reader and of course Hermione does as well but another thought came to me after reading your author's note. For me, it wasnt so much that Snape was taking what was 'rightfully' his as a husband but also possibly that somewhere deep in his mind this was his way of getting 'what was his' as a husband but also - making sure Lucius had absolutely no way to snake his way into the marriage.
I'm probably overthinking and of course, it's your story so forgive me if I jumped too far with my assumptions :)
Either way, this is good, please continue! I would really like to read more. Author's Response: It is so nice to here reviews and thoughts, so thank you for your time. | It is now almost a month after you promised three new chapters. Author's Response: Writing is my hobby. I do not have to meet with your deadlines. As you can appreciate, the chapter has to deal with some very sensitive issues, and suddenly making everything all ok and back to normal is massively disrespectful of anyone who has ever suffered abuse. | |||
