| this one seem strangely familiar and new at the same time I think I have read something very similar over on RS but if I remember correctly I absolutely loved that one. it was never finished though I hope that this one is completed without problems. | Oh! One small thing, isn't Hermione's birthday the 19th September? Author's Response: I know! I found out afterwards, but I needed Hermione to be of age or I am sure Severus would never agree to sleep with her, and they definitely needed to marry before returning to school. Since in the books her birthday is never mentioned I felt I could use a little artistic licence. | |||

| Somehow I'd missed two updates! (Possibly because I was travelling to America for a while) I've caught up now and I have to say that I'm enjoying how this is progressing, I particularly like the dialogue - there's something charming about it. I look forward to the next update. Author's Response: The dialogue is becoming a talking point. It has now been described as everything from "rambling" to "charming". I am glad you are enjoying it. | I actually liked the flow of dialogue. It seems to me that just talking is almost the only way these two are/could get to know each other as equals. I just hope that the wedding doesn't come across as too Muggle-ish or Americanized. I'd like to think there are Pure Blood traditions that need to be included too. Author's Response: Since I am British, I hope the wedding doesn't come across as American. I have written the wedding and it should be up imminently. It is reasonably traditional with an adjustment on the ring presentation which is wizarding. | |||

| I like the fact that you've put a lot of detail into what Hermione's thinking. So many MLC's seem to have her just going along with it, without much contemplation beyond "I have to have sex with HIM?" You've given her the inner sadness over realizing she really doesn't have choice *at all* and it comes across for a more well-rounded Hermione. I appreciate that as a reader. Author's Response: Thank you for your detailed review. The depth I hope I am creating at this early stage will be important for the more dramatic or angsty scenes later on. | |||
